Dublin is in the throes of transport trouble, due to a lightning strike at 'the great western terminus and the Kingsbridge and Inchicore works, owing to the suspension of an engine driver.

The strike began with goods trains last night, ancl the morning newspaper trains cad not run, after which the workmen resumed, but came out again in the evening, bringing to a standstill all trains.

Meanwhile the stoppage of buses and trams is expected to-morrow, owing to a strike over the dismissal of a bus driver.
