FRENCH SWIMMERS ARRIVE
TARTS AND POUSSARD. TOUR OF DOMINION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, To-day. The French swimming champion, J Tails, and the fancy diver, E. Poussard, arrived from Sydney to-day fnt their Dominion tour. Taris holds tlio European championship for 409 metres and 1500 metres, and in Australia won the national titles for the 220, 440 and 880 yards. Poussard said the standard of diving in Australia was disappointing.
