KAPUNI SOCIAL CLUB

MONTHLY DANCE HELD

On Thursday evening a large attendance was present- at the Kapuni hall, when the Young People’s Social Club held the monthly dance. The hall was tastefully decorated with ferns and geraniums by the committee members.

Jack Hooker’s orchestra supplied the music, with extras given by Mrs. Dan Mitchell and Messrs Maitland Whalen and Eric Austin. Stewart Gordon also gave extras on the pianoaecordeon. Messrs Ben Berry and J. P. Stevenson were M.’sC.

Supper was served by the young ladies of the committee, which included the following: Misses M. Luseombe Anna Steiner, E. Treanor, E. Luscombe, Agnes Steiner, D. Burton anti M. Rusling. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr. and Mrs. C. Wheeler (Manaia), a Monte Carlo fox-trot by Mr. Ned Wheeler and Miss Mary Crosbie.
