KNOCKED DOWN BY LORRY
COURT AWARDS SUM OF £570
(By TOlegraph— Press Association 3 GISBORNE, Feb. 20. As the sequel to a motor accident in October, in which a cyclist named Albert Victor Singe was knocked down by a light lorry driven by Edward Martin, was heard in the Supremo Court to-day bororc, Mx Justice Smith, when Singe claimed £897 10s damages. . Negligence on the part of the driver was admitted and the only question was the matter of damage. After medical evidence had been heard, the jury awarded Singe £SOO general and £7O special damages and costs.
