ANNUAL CONFERENCE AT NAPIER ELECTION OF OFFICERS (By XeiegrapD — Tree a .assoclatloi-.J NAPIER, Sept. 19. The annual conference of the New Zealand Licensed 1 Victuallers'' Association was held at Napier to-day, following a two-day golf tournament, and a reception this morning by the Mayor. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr J. W. Young (Otago) ; vicepresid'ents, Messrs P. Brodie (Auckland), M. O'Brien (Southland) and T. Coltman (Wellington); treasurer, Mr T. Coltman; executive council, Messrs R. Stewart and C. MaeFarland (Wellington), A. J. Lambert (Canterbury), F. M. Drewitt (South Canterbury), O. S. Burt (Poverty Bay), T. Heath Heath (Hawke’s Bay), P. S. Finlayson (Taranaki), A. t J. Davies (NelsonMarlbOrough), J. Bailly (Buller), A. Beban (Westland), E. Manley (Wan-garnii-Palmerston North), M. Walsh (Auckland); auditor, Mr L. Berryman (Wellington); emergency executive at Wellington, Messrs T. Coltman, C. McFarland and R. Stewart.
