SHIP’S SPEED INCREASED
MATJXGAXUI'S NEW PROPELLERS (By Telegraph —Pr«ss Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 17. The new propellers fitted to the Maunganui at Wellington last July have proved very satisfactory. The Maunganui has since been to Sydney and back and to San Francisco, and the vessel’s speed has been increased about half a knot. The propellers are three-bladed, cast in single units of phosphor bronze.
