DEATH OF SCHOOL TEACHER
RIFLE FOUND ALONGSIDE HAD BEEN IN POOR HEALTH fßy Telegraph—Press Association. 7 AUCKLAND, Sept. 18. The death occurred this morning in tragic circumstances of Clarence Farmsworth Stratford, aged 33, a teacher at the Kowhai intermediate school, and a prominent swimming administrator. His body was found under a tree with a rifle alongside. He had been in illhealth since a recent severe operation.
