The annual golf tournament of the North Island Licensed Victuallers’ Association opened on the Napier. Club’s links to-day and will be continued to-morrow. GOLF AT ELTHAM. TRISTRAM CUE COMPETITION The members of the Mthani Golf Club played the first round of the Tristram cup competition during the week-end, J. Casey 84—21—63, handing in the best card. N. Stewart 86—22—64, and T. Gibson 83—16 —67, being the next best scores. The trio are the youngest members of the club, their ages being from 15 to 17 years.
