Mr P. 11. Parr, who lias been the guest of Mrs C. Madiae, Regent St., Hiawera, for several weeks, left by the mail train this morning for Wellington and Blenheim.
Mr Victor Lloyd, who was to have been the judge at the Hawera Drama Festival, which commences this evening is unable to officiate owing to indisposition. The position of adjudicator will now be filled by Mr Cook, of Wellington, who will arrive bv the express train to-night.
