Fierce Street Fighting Occurs in Belfast RIVAL POLITICAL FACTIONS RIOTERS LOOT STORE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2.15 p.m. to-day. v LONDON, Sept. 16. The ‘Daily Mail’s” Belfast correspondent says that revolvers were freelv used in fierce street fighting between rival political factions. Two persons were sent to hospital With serious bullet wounds and twenty were injured by stones. Police detachments constantly madebaton charges and dispersed the crowds. Fighting then broke out at other points and scores of windows were smashed, while traffic was brought to a standstill. A grocery store was looted.
The rioters used parked motor oars as an entrenchment.
