He’s one of those nosey porker Individuals—always asking questions. So when he looked in at a New Plymouth tobacco shop for matches he said to the man behind the counter: “Now what d’you reckon the most popular brand of cut up is?” “Tastes vary,” repliojl the tobacconist. “ Different men have different opinions; some likes apples and some likes onions. Ha! Ha! over heard that one 'before? As to the weed American’s always wanted', of course. Turkish, too, and South African, to a limited extent. But any number of smokers plump for the genuine toasted—the genuine article, mind', the imitation is out of the picture. You can’t match the genuine for flavour and fragrance. And being toasted it’s almost free from nicotine—which means a lot to the smoker who values his health. Hots of my customers smoke nothing else. Thait tells a tale, eh? Brands? Only five of the real toasted: Cut Plug No. 10 (Bulkhead), Navy Out No. 3 (Bulldog), Cavendish, Biverhead Cold and Desert Gold.” A tin of Desert Gold changed hands.— Ad'vt.
