THE TEST PROBLEM
Denial of Any Interference with Voce
MARYLEBONE’S ATTITUDE SELECTORS TALK IT OVER tUnited Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received at 12 noon to-day. LONDON, Aug. 15. Voce is not playing against Hampshire. Upon his arrival at the ground, he said he was unfit owing to a badly bruised heel besides sore shins. Sir Stanley Jackson emphatically denies that Marylebone interfered with Voce’s leg theory, and says that it is absolutely untrue that Marylebone in anv wav interfered with the Nottingham match. “I am not going to say we shall' play Voce. The selectors shall simply talk the matter over.” There is no truth in the stories about a disagreement among the selectors or that the committee were under instructions not to . select Voce, who would be considered on exactly the same footing as the other players.-
