WAGE CUT RESTORATION
PART FOR- FERRY EMPLOYEES FULL FOR BOROUGH .STAFF (By Telegraph —Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 2. Members of the Ferry Employees' Union are to receive a 5 per cent, increase in wages according to an agreement between the directors of the Dcvonport Steam Ferry Company and the Union. Members of the union were subjected to two cuts, one of 10 per cent, and another of 5 per cent. In a w/jrdance with a resPuLon passed by the Birkenhead Borough Council tlhe wages of its employees, which were reduce I by 10 per cent., have been restored as from April 1 last.
