PATENT RIGHTS AND DESIRES. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 1. Nearly 60 nations were represented at a preliminary meeting in London of the conference of the Intel-national Union for the Protection of Industrial Property The plenary session of the conference wilt take place lln. the Locarno room at the JToreign Office. The last conference of the kind was held in 1925 and this is the first occasion on Which the union has mot in London. The 'subjects to be discussed are important but highly technical matters relating to the • protection ot patent rights, designs, trade murks and other kindred matters coming within the scope of the union. Sir Leith Ross heads the British delegation.
