FALL AT STEEPLES FENCE
RIDER, INJURED' SERIOUSLY RTQOARITON TRACK MTSHAP (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GHRTSTGHU RCH, May 1. A serious schooling accident occurred at Riccarton this morning when John Armstrong was rendered unconscious through the horse Cappy Ricks falling at a steeplechase fence. The injured rider was taken to the trainers’ rooms on a stretcher and conveyed L o the hospital suffering from head inMr Armstrong is the husband of the owner of Gappy Ricks.
