The general inference is that an intense anti-cvclone is still centred to the east of New Zealand, while the cyclone located over the Tasman Sea has .made little progress towards the Dominion. The forecast is for light to moderate but freshening morth-easterly winds, and the weather will probably be fine at first and mild, but with clouds and mist gradually increasing land rain within 24 hours. Seas will he smooth but later rising.
