CAR CAPSIZES OVER BANK
LABOUR MEMBERS INJURED. RETURNING FROM POLITICAL MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.! HOKITIKA, April 13. Mr. M. J. Savage, Leader of the Labour Party. ‘Mr. J. O’Brien, the member for Westland, Mr P. Webb, member for Ruller, and a local resident, wore involved in a motor car accident near Duffer’s Crook at midnight when returning from a political meeting- -at- Matainui. Mr. o'’B!rien waisi driving a tight sedan when the brakes jammed and the ear capsized over_ a -siding, falling twenty feet-. The- passengers had difficulty in extricating themselves from the overturned car, but escaped with minor bruises and cuts. The car, a new one-, was badly smashed.
