In an interview last evening, the Print? -{Minister' ' iRt. ' dloii. i G.' W. Quite a l'engthy discussion had taken place in connection with these proposals, and on behalf of the Government he had given an undertaking that they would receive the consideration of Cabinet and that a reply would be sent to the board. Mr Foribcs mentioned that in addition to the Dairy Board’s proposals, the Government had several recommendations to consider from the conference held last month -of those connected with the dairying industry. No decision of any sort had yet been reached. “Now that we have the recommendations of the board and the conference,’.’ -said iMr Forbes, we have all the recommendation's from the industry and can go ahead and consider the whole question.”

At the conference that had taken place that day between the board and Cabinet, the chairman of itine Dairy Board, Mr W. A.
