INFANT BOY DROWNED
PLAYING ON*RIVER. BANK. (B/ —Press Association.) BLENHEIM, March 9. David AJe-xander Formosa, aged 31 years, a ward of the State living in the licensed premises o.f Elizabeth Marian Holdway, was drowned, in the Opawa River at the back of the home on Wednesday afternoon. It is presumed. - that the child was playing on the bank and fell in. The body was recovered immediately, but artificial i expiration failed.
The coroner found that death was due to drowning.
