CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Harvest thanksgiving services will be conducted to-morrow at the'H awe fit Baptist Church in Argyle Street. The preacher will be the Rev. John liigs. The morning theme will be “Harvest: heavenly supplies for earthly:'weeds’,” and the evening theme “Thanksgiving for God’s harvest gifts.” Visitors' arid ■strangers, will be welcomed. The Rev. Basil Metson will conduct both services at the Hawera Methodist Church, Regent _ Street,’ tomorrow, has subjects being “A Lost Christ” and “Habits.” The choir will sing the Anthems “Consider the Lilies” end “Coi/os at Times a- Stillness.” '% Communion - Service will be held at S p.m. Visitors and friends are lieartilv invited to these services.
