A plea of guilty was entered today ■'j John Timothy O’Shea, aged 27, wlio was charged with obtaining £36 at Christchurch by falsely representing that a motor-car was his own and unencumbered. The police said the accused bought the car on the hire-purchase plan and sold it "before completing the payments, subsequently meeting two further instalments. ‘The accused said he had been told ho could sell the car and pay the money as lie liked. The Court admitted him to probation for two years and ordered him to pay £1 a week until the debt on the car ■was extinguished.
