The British case for world-wide scope for the discussions as against confining thorn to British Home and Colonial markets was examined and conclusions reached were embodied in a statement sent to Mr . O’Kada. L A communique has been issued stating that Mr O’Kada had explained that the memorandum submitted by the British delegation reached him late last night and there had Hot been time to examine it closely with his colleagues. It was added that the Japanese delegates had no fresh views to advance, hut they expressed willingness t-o examine the new British document and the adjournment was arranged for this purpose.
