The general inference is that the anti-cyclone which has been almost stationary to the west during the last week has now moved on to the Dominion and increased in intensity, barometers reading over 30.4 inches at most places. The pressure has fallen over eastern Australia, where conditions are disturbed. The forecast .is for light variable winds at first, tending to northerly and later freshening. The weather should be fine and mild, but with a cold night. Seas will be smooth, but later rising.
