SHIP HITS ROOKY BOTTOM ESTIMATED £30,000 DAMAGE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 2S. The inter-State collier William MacArthur grounded at; Port Phillip Bay and slid over a rocky bottom. A dock inspection revealed that the bottom was badly arched and holed from ’midships to the stern. Repairs are likely to cost £30,000.
