DRAMATIC CLUB’S SOCIAL.

THREE PLAYS PRESENTED. (From Qulr Own Correspondent.) The Alanaia Dramatic Club’s concluding social ctf the; season was held on Wednesday evening in the Oddfellows’ Hall and drew a large attendance. Three plays were staged during the evening. They were—- “ Five Birds in a Cage.” Characters “Duchess of AVootdshine,” Aliss Chiicott; “Lord Forth,” Mr S. Blytli; “Ndllie,” Aliss Oottom; “Liftman,” Air T. Black; “Bert,” Air C. G. Walker. ‘ ‘AIo onsliine” —Characters: ‘ ‘Revenue Officer,” Air F. Garner; “Luke Hazuf,” Air F. Dick. “Birds of a Feather.” —Characters: “Bishop of Alid-Wales,” Air T. Black; “Twin Tinker,” Air G. Hammonds; “Dickey’sßach Owl’,” Air G. G. Walker; “Second Keeper,” Air O. Sproul; “Jenkins,” Air B. Scannell. The producer was Aliss Chilcott. Mr Winter's orchestra .supplied the music, and the AI.C. was Air F. Garner. Decorations were arranged by Airs V. AVi-n----tens.

Air Shorson, on behalf of the club, thanked the orchestra and the people who so kindly allowed the use of rooms for the club’s rehearsals. A very dainty supper was provided by the ladies.
