The Eltham Plunket Society held it's annual shop day in Eltham on Wednesday and the sum of £l3 was realised in aid of sub-branch expenses. Various competitions were held, in which Miiss B'. V. Gardiner won a clock and Miss A. Foote a painting. HUNTINGTON’S; ’Plioue 2118. Our grand display of new prints and cambrics certainly do reveal an array of up-to-the-minute designs in chevron, spot, stripe and small dainty florals, in a galaxy of colourings which are expressive' of the joyous spirit of spring and make one exclaim, “Why, it’s just like a summer’s day!’’ Tiny Tot, Tlaircord, Norbar, Summer Breeze, Tobralco, ItayteX and Cordlaine are among the ' interesting group and priced from 9d to 2/3. —Advt.
