CBy Telegraph—Press Association.! GISBORNE, Sept. 29. For a brutal assault on his mother a young native, Tommy Ahurin, was sentenced to-day at Ta-raroa- to six months’ imprisonment. The mother attended the court and said she would sooner die than see her son sent to gaol.
