An indication of the return of the horse to its old time place in farm economy is shown by the fact that the best sale for many years took place at a clearing sale yesterday. A four- | horse team realised £207. Other prices | were : Seven-year horse, £57 ; six-year, £53; five-year, £52; six-yea|r, £45; eight-year, £39 ; seven-year, £32.
