LATE MR. FRED LIVINGSTON

FUNERAL AT HAWERA. One of the largest funerals in the history of the district was that of the •late Mr. F. 8. C. Livingston, of inalia, which took place at the Hawera cemetery yesterday. The gathering was representative of the* town and country districts, and included relatives anu friends from \\ airarapa, Hawke s uav and other centres. The wreaths included tributes from the Taranasi Rugby Union, the banners’ Co-op., the lliverdale dairy factory, and the gardening circie of the Hawera- Women’s Club, of which Mrs. Livingston was a member. . . The chief mourners were Mr. LivingHone’s sons and his brother Guy, and Mrs. Cameron, a stepsister, of Mastercon, was also present. The Rev. It. Miller, of Manaia, office ated at the service at the house and at the graveside and the-bearers were Messrs W. McL’Dowie, H. J>. Caplem, W. H. H. Young, C. H. Washer, xv. McLean, and E. Jennings. Mr. John Buchanan, of Masterton, who was present, was unable to act owing to an old injury.
