SUMMER SCHOOL PLAN
— DRAMA LEAGUE VENTURE'. The next big practical venture of tho British Drama League will be a school of drama to be held in the buildings of the Timaru Boys’ High School for a fortnight from December 28. A special staff has been engaged, and such subjects as Greek movement, dancing, verse speaking, speech, training, acting and production will he included in the curriculum.
The morings will be devoted to work, the afternoons to pleasure, and the evenings to lectures and other activities. It is intended, however, to leave two evenings a week free. Those who attend the school will live in the school buildings and will be able to obtain special travelling concessions. Altogether it should provide an enjoyable summer holiday for a total expenditure of little more than £5.
