ALLEGATION OF SEDUCTION.

COMPLETE DENIAL GIVEN. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) EDMONTON, Sept. 22. A statement of claim was filed in the Supreme Court, of Alberta to-day askr ing unstated damages from the Premie of Alberta, J. E. Broivnlee, for the alleged seduction of Vivian Macmillan, daughter of a former Mayor, Allan Macmillan, of Edso.n, Alberta. The offences allegedy commenced in 1930 when the girl was said to be 18 years old. Brownlee over the long-distance telephone from Ottawa, where he is attending as a member of the Canadian Royal Commission on hanking, said: “While one regrets to have to face a case of this kind it will enable me to come to grips with rumours that have been spread for some -weeks. There is not, a word of truth in the allegations. ”
