Important questions affecting the coordination of road and! rail transport are being discussed a.t a. conference arranged by master carriers between representatives oif the master carriers and the officers of the Railway Transport Department. The Minister of Transport (the Hon. J. G. Coates) was present during the morning. The proceedings at the confer ence were not open to the Press.
