Again in the open .singles Mrs Masters had a keen struggle with Mrs Bock (Wellington) and just got home. Miss Beale has won tho_ final of the first life of the intermediate singles and si still in the second life. 'She will play Miss Washer in the fourth round and the winner will go into the semifinal.

Mrs. Exley and Mrs Masters will play this afternoon for the final of the first life in the open champion singles. There are several still to play in the second life.
