PARAGUAY AND BOLIVIA DISPUTE OVER GRAN CHACO OTHERS CONSIDER BLOCKADE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph copyright.) ASCENSION,- Feb. 18. Semi-official sources on Saturday night said the Paraguayan Senate is to meet in an extraordinary session nexweek to consider a resolution of iormai declaration of war against Bolivia, following eight months’ warfare in the Gran Chaco region. Argentine, Chile, Peru and Brazil are said to be contemplating a blockade of the Bolivian frontier in order to force the cessation of hostilities. The proposed declaration- of war i>. apparently prompted by the belief that aii actual state of war would facilitate a blockade.
