(From Our Own Correspondent.) SUCCESSFUL DANCE. Oh Monday evening a most enjoyable dance was held at the Oeo Hail. The music was supplied by Mi* J. Hooker’s orchestra, and Mr. Stewart Gordon, the .well-known blind musician, played solos on the saxophone. This music was a. feature of the evening and was much* appreciated. Monte Carlos were won iby Miss Rangitawa and Mr Mann and Miss Mortensen and Miss E. Riley. Excellent service was given by a committee of ladies who. organised and controlled the supper arrangements.
