The Minister of Agriculture, replying to the cluib’s letter regarding the dehorning of cattle in certain cases, stated that in any legislation on the subject a. provision would be included exempting .stud cattle from the operation of the Bill. , The New Plymouth Club advisee! that as a national female .show and' saile- of Jersevis would be held, at New Plymouth on' the Monday of Jersey week the club could not see any object in holding a. provincial female sale. The chairman remarked that the national sale would serve the purpose aimed at by the suggested provincial snle, but lie thought the sale should he held at Stratford next time owing to its. central position and fine sale facilities. . , , r , l\rr H.
