FATAL ATTACK BY BULL
SUDDEN RUSH ON FARMER. MAN’S DEATH IN HAWKE’S BAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, Jan. 30. Fatal ' injuries were received this morning by Charles James Starnes, aged 55 years, a farmer residing at Haumoana, as the result of being attacked by a Jersey bull. Mr. Starnes was attempting to remove the bull from a paddock when it suddenly charged him, breaking his neck. His death ensued three hours later.
