OVERDRAFT RATE
DAIRY FARMERS’ REQUEST REDUCTION TO 4$ PER CENT. A resolution recommending the Government to negotiate with the banks with a view to effecting a reduction to 41 per cent, in the overdraft rate was adopted at a meeting of the Taranaki Dairy Factory Association at Eltham yesterday. Some forty Taranaki dairy factories were represented at the meeting.
