PROFESSOR. lIE WIT SON \S BEQUEST (By Ttflegraub—Press Association). DUNEDIN, Jan. 29. The estate of the late Rev. Professor Hewitson has been assessed at under £12,000. The wi.* directs the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand to invest the residuary estate and hold it upon trust and apply half of the resulting income toward the education and training of those who are or have been resident students in Knox College for any branch of work of the church within” or beyond New Zealand, and to apply the remaining half toward the education and training of persons of any faculty' of the University of New Zealand or any approved university, who are or have been resident in Knox College and who are ineligible to receive benefit under the first part of the trust.
