SINO-JAPANESE WRANGLE
LATE EDITION
DISPUTE IN MANCHURIA PLAN FOR FURTHER REPORT PROGRESS AT GENEVA. BASED ON LYTTON INQUIRY (British Official Wireless.) Received 12.15 p.m to-dav. RUGBY, Jan. 28. Good progress is being made by tbe League sub-committee which is draiting a report on, the Manchurian dispute and it is considered probable the report will be agreed on early next week. It is understood the whole report is to be included in a single document comprising the preamble and the history of events in Manchuria down to December 1931 based on the first chapters of the Lytton report and the history of subsequent events including the failure of conciliation. The report up to this point has been completed. The next section will deal with the conclusions at present under consideration. The final part of the report will offer recommendations. There is every likelihood that the committee of nineteen will shortly be able to submit the whole report to the Assembly.
