NGAERE BIRTHDAY PICNIC. Tho birthday of tli-e Ngaere Women’s Institute was celebrated by a picnic hold on Wednesday at- the farm of Mrs ,T. Seed, Finncrty Road, Ngaere. At the back of Mr Seed’s property there is a fine, swimming pool and camping' ground set amidst clumps of bush, and these proved most attractive. Mr Seed had gone to much trouble to, plrcpare the ground for the occasion, and his efforts, met with the commendation of all present. The swimimng pool proved such an attraction that it was not necessary to organise games. Mrs Seed cut, the birthday cake at after noon tea.
