McLaughlan, Master ton. Four competitors, H. E'llis, McLaughlan, B. R. Thompson and J. AViniki (New Plymouth) tied with the possible 21. but in the shoot off the; other three each missed one bird. Twenty-five competitors contested the championship keenly in perfect weather.
