(From Our Own Correspondent). CROQUET. On Tuesday last- a team from the Kaponga Croquet Club visited the Opunake lawn and in a close contest emerged the winners by 4 points of the Tait -Stars. Details are (Kaponga players being mentioned first): Alesdames Tait and Brewer 16, lost to Alesdames Jenkin and Gunson, 26. Alesdames R-othe and Evans 26, defeated Alesdames Watt and Dalivmple 12.
BOWLING
In the sixth round of the Opunake Bowling Club’s championship singles L. Des Forges defeated C. A. Smith 21—11. The following rinks will represent the club against the remainder of the Western Division in a match to be played at Opunake during the coining week-end: D. Peat, Callaghan, Hickey. Alor-on (s); Lambie, Judson, Des Forges, Feaver (s); R. Smith, Ritchie. Walker, Sinclair (s); Father Kennedy. R. Peat. Brennan. Wilson (s) ; Clare, Dalrymple, Fane, Stephenson (s); AtrCTone, .Tonkin, Hammond, Burton (s).
