All attractive dance evening is being arranged by Mr Jack Hooker, of Opunake, for the Uewa Tea Rooms at Hawera on Wednesday next, the night of tlie first day of the Ejgmont races. His full orchestra, including Stewart Gordon, the accomplished blind musician, will nrovide a specially interesting .series of dance numbers. A special attraction will be an open waltzing competition, which, is expeetedi to draw competitors from all over South Taranaki. Novelty dances and specially coloured lighting effects will be other features.
