LAND SEARCH ABANDONED LONDON MEMORIAL PROPOSED SUGGESTION BY COMMITTEE (United Press Association —Bv Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received II a.m. to-day. LONDON, Jan. 26. After a consultation with the Air Ministry the Hinkler search, committee abandoned its plans for a land search in, Switzerland. The committee is. convinced cf the impossibility of finding Hinkler alive. It is now proposed -to devote the funds to the erection of a memorial at London.
