WATERLOO BRIDGE REPAIRS
ESTIMATED £685,000 COST. DECISION TO PROCEED. (Pritish Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. 24. A letter from the Ministry' of Transport read at the London County Council meeting to-day stated that the Government had reached the decision to proceed to recondition Waterloo Bridge at an estimated cost of £685,000. A grant of 60 per cent, of the post would be made by the Ministry.
