HEALTH OF MAORI RACE
METHODIST MISSION FEARS.
(Bv Telegraph — Tress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. Nov. 17. A report on Maori: mission work was presented to the Canterbury Methodist district meeting to-day.
It said: “The position is very grave in many Maori villages, for the foiced return to rough bush foods, particularly now that .birds 1 fish are oomparatively 'scarce, is l seriously affecting the health of the Maoris, especially of the children.”
