Sunil Kumar Ghatterjee has been sentenced to life transportation, Promode Ranjan Bose to 10 years’ hail’d labour, Airnar Chandra Ghose to two years’ hard labour, and the other three accused, Dutt, Das and Bakshi, have been acquitted by the _ special tribunal on charges in connection with the attempt to murder Sir James Watson, editor of the Calcutta “Statesman.”
