'lhe Melanesian Mission Board ha. received a cable from Captain Stantoi of the wrecked Southern Cross, stating that he had been compelled by weathei to return to Vila in a chartered vesso in which lie set out to pick up the re mainder of the crew. He arranged with the Morinda, which leaves Auckland to-night, to call at Aneityum and nick un all hands. He expects tr charter a craft to proceed to I ulaii oi -November 25. The officer. Mr. Holmes, has been picked up from Tanna Island.
