LINER’S CREW MUTINY
CHANGE OF DESTINATION. ECHO OF DUTCH STRIKE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, Sept. 5. The owners of the liner Rotterdam made an attempt 'to find a new terminal port owing to the Dutch strike, and the result was a mutiny'. The liner, in response to whose wireless 30 marines were ready to board her at the Westindor lightship, landed the British passengers at Plymouth and proceeded to Boulogne. The crew, noticing that the ship was not headed for Rotterdam, struck until the captain revealed his destination.
The Dutch seamen’s strike commenced at Amsterdam, it being alleged that the shipowners to exploit the exchange position to the ■detriment of the seamen.
